As I have traveled to various cities and villages around the world, I try to ask myself how I can get more in touch with the local people and their traditions.  I’ve always had this desire to learn more about cultures that are different to mine, and to be able to experience them firsthand.

Along the way, I have used certain strategies to help me get more in touch with the local culture as I travel.  These are the tips that I share with you below.  My hope is that they give you a few ideas to help you on your journey of travelling a little deeper into the world.
